Beginner Ballet

Ballet teaches exercises that build muscle strength, increase flexibility, and provide a foundation that can be applied to all dance styles. This class will focus on basic ballet technique including positions of the feet and arms, proper body alignment, turnout, ballet vocabulary, barre exercises, across the floor movements, and center work.  Proper ballet attire (black leotard, pink transition tights, pink ballet slippers and hair in a bun) is required.  A dance skirt is optional.
